Your Favorite Genre and Why: Open Thread

Okay, so I am going a bit off topic today! I want to know what your favorite genre is and why. Is it science fiction? Thrillers? Mystery? Crime? Non-fiction? Self Help? What is YOUR preference? Why is it your favorite?

When I was just a little girl reading Stephen King I thought it was the best genre ever, and I vowed to never read any other genre. I lied. I have read books in every genre there is out there. I am not exactly sure if I could ever choose one favorite! I love them all. Lets discuss the best genres. Comment below with your favorite genre and why you love it so!

    Paranormal Romance I guess. I love anything about vampires, werewolves and witches. Most of them fall under paranormal. I don’t know why vampires are my favorite but I am just drawn to them.
