David Hunke recently won the Pulitzer Prize for his newspaper, the Detroit Free Press. He is now named the publisher of the top newspaper in the United States - USA Today. Craig Moon, the former publisher of USA Today, has retired.

J.R.R. Tolkien is the author of the ever-successful Lord of the Rings Trilogy. But getting Tolkien’s work into ebook format for sale took quite a bit of convincing. The Tolkien estate were finally sold on the idea of going digital and the works are now available for download.

I read this book when it first came out. It was one of the few novels that attracted my attention. It is a fascinating story that I did not want to end. Now that it is coming out in theaters I cannot wait to see it! Angels & Demons is a truly amazing story. I could not put that book down until I finished it. The story was the only thing I thought about as I read it. I am excited to see how it will be portrayed on the big screen.

Dan Brown is the author of Angels & Demons , The Da Vinci Code , Lost Symbol , Digital Fortress , and Deception Point .  The Da Vinci Code has already been turned into a movie, and now Angels & Demons will be too.

Yes, another kid’s book! Enchanted Thyme - Book One in the Delicious Adventure Series is the first volume in a series of six books. My daughters really enjoyed this one and they want to cook every recipe in the book! Enchanted Thyme is actually a fairytale adventure children’s book that includes recipes, possibly the first of its kind in the industry. The author (Ariane Smith), the book, and the chef (Micheal Wilson) were featured by the New York Times, at the FoodNetwork Wine and Food Festival, and sponsored by Food&Wine Magazine! Enjoy the delicious adventure fairytale and try out these tasty recipes!

Flippy Goes on a Road Trippy is by John Mese and Dawn Kelsey. It is illustrated by Chanler Holden. The book is colorful, friendly and fun. Flippy is a tadpole who likes to go on adventurous road trips. Flippy and his friends enjoy singing, dancing, laughing, swimming, and traveling. They visit new places and make new discoveries. Kids can go along for the adventure by reading Flippy Goes on a Road Trippy and discover new things with him. Brooke Sheilds’ kids love these books and she enjoys reading them to her children, saying, “They’re the only books my oldest daughter makes me put on her bedside table when she goes to sleep. She just loves her Flippy books…and I had to get two copies because the girls don’t want to share them! Now I read my book and Flippy to my youngest daughter every night…and keep copies on my bedside table in case they come into our bed!”

How Cleaning my Room Changed my Life by Huma Gruaz and Mark Rosenweig is the perfect book for a child of any age having trouble with chores. I gave this one to my youngest daughter and she loves the book. She especially loves the vacuum cleaner who helps the little boy Sam learn how to clean and organize his room. This book isn’t just a manual; it involves a story about Sam and how messy he is. Because he is so messy his toys are broken and lost. He holds onto a ring for his best friend but loses it and this motivates him to clean in order to find the ring. Because of this book my daughter now takes the trash out!

This book is absolutely fantastic. My two daughters and I love it. The illustrations are colorful and warm. The story is about bears who live in a sanctuary where there is no global warming or destroyed habitats. However, when humans find out about this place global warming begins, trees are cut down, and homes for the bears are destroyed. The kids of the loggers see what is happening and try to ban together with the bears to help save them. My girls love this book because it teaches them about animals, it has brilliant illustrations, and they can connect with the story. I recommend this book for kids who want to learn about animal life.

Cole Family Christmas is a wonderful story about the Cole Family. Hazel Cole Kendel wrote this true story and published it at age 88 with her co-author and granddaughter, Jennifer Lui Bryan. Before Hazel published this book it was a story that was passed down from generation to generation. Now it will never be forgotten. More than twenty family members helped with this book from the story all the way to the designs. The illustrations in this book are fantastic. Hazel grew up in Benham, Kentucky with 8 siblings. Benham was a small mining community. This is a heart-warming Christmas story that can now be shared with families all over the world.
